Myriam Watfa Aoun, Pharm.D., MSc, MPH 

With more than 11 years of experience in pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, and public health, Myriam works at the intersection of science, policy, and health systems.  Her academic journey includes a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a Master’s in Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences, and a Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Along the way, she led projects, managing stakeholders and conducting national health surveys, all while promoting safe and effective healthcare delivery. Her employers included the World Health Organization, the International Labour Organization, the World Bank, and the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, whereshe advanced initiatives in health services management, vaccine safety, and pharmaceutical quality assurance. Research and knowledge-sharing remain her priority, with contributions to publications in pharmacology, primary health care, infectious diseases, and pharmacovigilance.
