Dr. Doudar is the Mission Ambassador for the Federation of International Gender and Human Rights (FIGHR) in the Middle East and the UN, member of board of directors of FIGHR, and a board member director of the Global Goodwill Ambassadors. He is a certified professional chaplain, certified trainer of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Clinical Management of Rape (CMR), and enjoys serving more than 35 years in managing the provision of health care services for refugees; he acted as GBV, PSAE, CP, Neutrality, Disability, and Health Emergency Focal Person for more a long period.
Dr. Doudar has a Doctorate degree in Professional Studies Harbor Heritage University - USA and an MPH in Health Management and Policy from the American University of Beirut with an extensive experience in managing health programs for INGOs especially in Lebanon and Syrian. Over the past ten years, he has worked as a consultant for UN, INGOs, and NGOs working in Lebanon, Jordan, and the UK. Regarding SGBV/Rape, Wissam developed and conducted several packages of CMR training programs targeting healthcare professionals working at public and private hospitals in Lebanon, as well as those working at primary health care settings and trained midwives at senior level of universities, and tailored sensitizing sessions for psychologists, social workers, municipality staff and community key persons at some NGOs at different localities. CMR training was conducted for staff working at GBV shelters run by GBV and Protection NGOs. Wissam assessed clinical management of rape services in Lebanon in the year 2016 under a project funded by UNFPA.
